Ingredients

2 large eggs

3/4 cup half-and-half

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon granulated sugar

1/2 cup flour

1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 500°.

  2. Combine the eggs, half-and-half, vanilla and granulated sugar in a food processer or blender and process or blend until combined, around 15 seconds.

  3. Add the flour and process until well combined and free of lumps, about 30 seconds. Set batter aside.

  4. Melt the butter in a 10-inch ovenproof skillet.

  5. Remove the skillet from the heat.

  6. Quickly pour the batter into the skillet.

  7. Put the skillet into the oven, and lower the heat to 425°.

  8. Bake for 17 to 19 minutes until it looks brown and puffed.

  9. Eat with syrup, powdered sugar, berries, or anything you want!
